Helena de Crespo, Executive Director
Helena is a Spanish born graduate of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London, England. Is an award-winning actress. Is fluent in two languages. Has performed in 16 different countries on three continents in theatre, television, and film. Served The Department of Culture of the Colombian Government and that of Costa Rica in South and Central America. Awarded the ONDRA for her contribution to Latin American Theatre. Developed projects on behalf of UNESCO. Resides in the US.
Penelope Culbertson, Secretary
Penelope is a renowned calligrapher and watercolorist, a gallery owner, art therapist, and teacher. She is dedicated to the preservation of indigenous art forms and is the Secretary for SaveWorldArt. She also plays an active part with the Portland Society of Calligraphy.
Valerie May, Treasurer
Valerie May is a retired registered nurse. She has lived and traveled in New Zealand, East Africa, and Europe. She has always loved the arts and during her past career as a nurse, she was aware how they contributed to people’s well being. She is proud to contribute her bookkeeping skills to Save World Art where she has seen lives being saved and people’s self esteem strengthened.
Peter Cooper, Photographer
Peter has been practicing photography for the past 60 years. Combining this with the love of travel, he and his wife have explored many countries. The UK, France, Cuba, Costa Rica, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Ecuador, Peru, Brazil, Chile, India, China, Kenya, Thailand and Iceland, to name a few. The next on the list is Uganda where they will be continuing projects for SWA.
Michael Davidson, Financial Advisor
Michael holds a BA from Pomona College and studied for MAs from Carnegie Mellon and NYU. He is a Licensed Tax Consultant and an Enrolled Agent with a Federal Tax Designation representing clients with the IRS. He is proud to collaborate with SWA.
